Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimum charge for carpet cleaning?
Yes, our minimum charge is $175.00
Do you offer a guarantee on your cleaning?
We never want our clients to be unhappy with our service so if you have any concerns within 72 hours of your original service, we’ll gladly return at no charge to you to see how we can fix the situation.
Do you move furniture?
For insurance reasons we are unable to move furniture but we're happy to work around your furnishings and only clean the carpet traffic areas that need attention. Because the need for furniture moving is reduced, we pass the savings along to you with our low pricing. However, if you would like the whole carpet cleaned, please remove any furniture and/or belongings from the areas being cleaned prior to our arrival.
How long will it take for my carpets to dry?
Usually within 1 to 2 hours. Typically, our cleaning leaves carpets dry or slightly damp to the touch by the time we have completed the job but in some cases, depending on the weather and humidity levels in your home, the carpet may take a little longer for dry time.
How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
For maximum cleanliness and optimal appearance, you should clean your carpets at least three times a year. Our process removes allergy-causing contaminants and dust mites that are trapped in the carpet. It also prevents ground-in dirt and insoluble particulates from causing the carpet to wear faster.
We saw a lower price on a coupon from another cleaner, why would we use you?
The super low prices you see from "splash and dash" companies are a bait and switch tactic utilized to get in your home and then upcharge you for services that we already include. Our pricing is very fair for what we include and is upfront so there is no confusion for our customers.
Do you guarantee the removal of all spots and stains?
There is a difference between a spot and a stain: a spot is any foreign material (soil, liquid, etc.) that is removable by standard cleaning methods because it is on or around the carpet fiber. A stain is foreign material (soil, liquid, etc.) on carpet that is not usually removable by standard cleaning methods because it has penetrated ‘soaked into’ fiber and has changed or damaged the fiber itself. Some stains may be impossible to remove. What we can guarantee is that we'll do our very best with our training and the solutions we have on hand.
How important is vacuuming my carpet?
Vacuuming your carpet is essential to keep it clean and hygienic while also prolonging its life. We recommend that you vacuum your carpets at least once a week with a quality vacuum cleaner. In high traffic areas or rooms where kids and pets use, you may want to consider more frequent vacuuming. Slow and steady vacuuming is the way to go to ensure maximum removal of dust and dirt.
What are the dark, dirty lines that have formed on the border of my carpet against the wall?
This is called filtration soiling because it comes from air passing through the carpet as it is attempting to get through the crack between the carpet and the baseboard. As the air passes through the edge of the carpet pile, this microscopic soiling is deposited and builds up. This type of soiling is difficult to remove because the soil particles are so fine that they penetrate deep into the carpet pile.
We'll test clean a 1' section and if the result is satisfactory to you, we can clean the remainder of the border for $1.25 per linear foot.
